Five Points Participates In National Wear Red Day

Friday, February 6, 2015

On Friday, February 6, The Five Points Association and The American Heart Association invited the Five Points community to participate in National Wear Red Day.

National Wear Red Day promotes the red dress symbol, which is featured on 18 storefronts within the neighborhood. It provides an opportunity for everyone to unite in support of women’s heart disease awareness. Heart disease and stroke are the number one cause of death of women in the United States, affecting an estimated 43 million women nation wide. Together, the Five Points community will continue to urge women to learn more and to protect their hearts, living healthier lives.
