Five Points to Host 33rd Annual St. Pat's Festival

On Saturday, March 14, 2015, the 33rd Annual St. Pat’s in Five Points will take place in celebration of all things Irish. The festival will run from 9:00am-7:00pm, with the annual Get to the Green 10K, 5K, and 1-Mile Family Fun Run taking place at 7:30am before the festival gates open.

Price – Pre-sale tickets are on sale online for $15. In addition to online sales, there are also six pre-sale ticket outlets throughout Five Points: Hair Designs on Santee, STEEL garden, Ace Locksmith, Village Idiot Pizza & Pub, Yesterday’s Restaurant, Green’s Beverages. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the festival gates for $20.

Getting There – The festival offers a free shuttle service from 9:00am-8:00pm that will transport patrons to and from the event. Shuttle stops include: Hand Middle School, The Koger Center, and Capital City Stadium on Assembly Street.

NEW For 2015 –
• St. Pat’s Saluda’s VIP Experience – For $89, VIP patrons will receive admission into the festival (a $20 dollar value), food, an open bar, and exclusive, premier viewing from Saluda’s rooftop balcony. The VIP experience also includes clean indoor restrooms.
• T-Mobile Mobile Charging Station – This year’s festival will include an information and charging cube, centrally located, for patrons’ convenience.
• St. Pat’s Selfie Contest – Patrons can participate in the new “St. Pat’s Selfie” photo contest by posting photos on social media with the hashtag #StPatsSelfie2015. The winner will receive a prize the week after the festival.
• Bio Joe – St. Pat’s in Five Points will proudly go green at this year’s event by recycling all cooking oil and grease used the day of. 100% of what is collected will be used by the City of Columbia to fuel garbage trucks and other diesel equipment that service Five Points, the Vista, and USC.

Reminder – As a reminder, this year’s festival is a no re-entry, and we encourage patrons to enjoy our free activities outside the festival gates (St. Pat’s Parade and Wells Fargo Pot o’ Gold Playland) before using their admissions ticket.
