The final project of the Five Points Centennial Celebration, the Postcard Mural, was in the works since 2016. A 12-person committee consisting of members of the Five Points Association Board of Directors and staff, along with the owners of Drip and Pecknel and representatives from One Columbia, worked hard to do justice to the prominent wall overlooking the original Five Points fountain, in the heart of Five Points. Several local, regional, and national artists submitted pieces for consideration. Among them was Chad Brady, an artist with strong local ties to Columbia and specifically Five Points. Brady’s vintage postcard design was chosen unanimously.
